Want to Get Married in Clovis NM? Say I Do Makes it Easy!
HOW TO GET A MARRIAGE LICENSE:
If you want to get married in Clovis NM, first you have to get a license. Please go to the Curry County Clerk’s office that is located on the corner of Axtell and 5th street in Clovis NM. You can get your marriage license for $25. The website for their office is http://www.currycounty.org/elected-offices/clerks-office.
The Curry County Clerk’s Office will maintain regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Customers applying for a marriage license need to arrive between 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM daily, with the exception of holiday closures as established by the Board of County Commissioners.
Curry County Clerk’s Office will accept your completed wedding license (after you’ve had the ceremony and everything is signed) until 4:30 PM daily, Monday through Friday.

If you live in Portales, you can get your marriage license at the Roosevelt County Courthouse, www.rooseveltcounty.com
If you want to be married in Texas, you have to get a Texas Marriage license. Then one of us needs to go to Texas (the closest place is Farwell, TX, and we can marry you there. We charge $40 to travel to Farwell if you would like to use our services there. Texas does not require witnesses.

MEET KATHY
Kathy is a non-denominational minister who officiates very small casual weddings to larger formal ceremonies. She is often available on short notice for informal weddings in the office “chapel” or location of your choice. For an additional $200, you can use her beautiful backyard as a backdrop, which includes a large Koi pond that works well for pictures. It is Clovis, New Mexico and you can see the location prior to your wedding if you choose.
MEET JAYMI
Jaymi is also a non-denominational minister located in Clovis. She is available on most occasions when Kathy is not and can do wedding ceremonies at the office “chapel” or a location of your choice. If you are getting married outside of Clovis (any state), she will be happy to travel (after normal business hours only) for an additional charge.
MEET ERIN
Erin has been doing weddings for years. Since she’s a teacher, she can assist on certain days when she’s not busy with her own kids!
